Starting January 1, 2011, private trash haulers are responsible for collecting recycling from their customers, including residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial.
The Western Finger Lakes Authority Materials Recovery Facility (MRF) will be closing its recycling drop-off as of Friday, December 30. Please check with your town or village for local drop-off.
Drop-off locations: Town of Ontario Highway Dept.; Town of Williamson Landfill; Saturday 8 a.m. - noon. Trash taken for $.10/lb. Recycling free.
